Students Showcase Their Talents

Final-year media and journalism students from the University of Worcester showcased their talents at an end-of-academic-year presentation of work and exhibition held to celebrate the culmination of their undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

Parents and friends were also present at the event, which included a presentation of awards to student prizewinners.

More than 100 students, including those studying creative media, animation, graphic design, film-making, screenwriting and advertising and marketing, had their work on display, offering an opportunity to witness projects compiled by the next-generation of artists and creatives.

Dr Mark Fisher, Head of Institute of Arts and Humanities at the University, who welcomed visitors to the event, said: “The Show is an important part of our students’ journeys, it’s where years of creative work comes together.”

He continued: “The quality of this year’s degree show is nothing short of excellent. It’s a marker of our students’ hard work and dedication, and it’s also an indicator of the innovation and impact that our artists of tomorrow will have on the creative industry.”
